Title
My Summers End Abstraction
Artist
Laurel Adams
Medium
Painting - Colour Pencil
Description
This original colour pencil is all about blocks of hot Colour meeting cool colours and trying to recreate some of the DRAMATIC sunsets to our West...the haybales were only picked up this past week and they cast DRAMATIC shadows. Is this Abstraction finished?? More to follow tomorrow. Well...technically, it IS tomorrow...yikes!
NOTE: Within the controversial distinction of CP “drawing” or “painting” lies artist definition. My definition: when the surface is ENTIRELY burnished, I classify as a Painting; when any exposed Paper Is part of the composition or background, I classify as a drawing. I render both.
