Artist's Description
This original colour pencil, third and Next to final, REAL TIME painting detail completes the near finished rendering (entitled “Garden Party” -To follow) of a composite reference photo collage inspired by the AMAZING floral performance this year! I have been blessed to enjoy these beauties in allergy free air conditioning as I scattered details from reference photos about to a variety of my favorite Vaughn Williams, classical string pieces. Enjoy!
NOTE: Within the controversial distinction of CP “drawing” or “painting” lies artist definition. My definition: when the surface is ENTIRELY burnished, I classify as a Painting; when any exposed Paper Is part of the composition or background, I classify as a drawing. I render both.
