Description
This digital manipulation (of my original colour pencil painting of a dragonfly entitled: “Balancing on a Tightrope”) is excitedly pushing its Pond, branch and leaf elements thru the toolbar of my Procreate for iPad; it emphasizes the magical qualities of the revered dragonfly!
It also coincides with my Digital Transitions Project 2024 to transition my CP portfolio into the digital realm.
The REALLY exciting backstory to this third digital manipulation is that it just NOW occurred in REAL TIME as part of a WIP exchange turned digital tool tutorial with FAA Conni Schaftenaar in our weekly connect. I literally “push”ed branches with the ‘curve’ tool and altered the overall Colour scheme altering gradation mixes with the ‘color balance’ tool within options afforded under the Adjustments tool. No coincidence that the ‘adjustments tool’ is shaped as a magic wand with two magic stars! She laughs that I haven’t ventured to explore beyond the brushes in my work over the last year and says she can’t wait to see what I create now that we explored “digital layers” today. I have stumbled into digital effects by old fashioned traditional techniques so far. As we continue to explore,…I am REALLY excited to see what the rest of my portfolio MIGHT become!
PHOTO CREDIT/REFERENCE: Thank you so much, Shari Fulper, my friend. I so miss my precious time down the road in NJ. Thank you for the photos and the memories they rekindle.

Many thanks for your kindnesses and visit, Sharon…:-)) it truly is a small world, isn’t it? I lived across the street from the entrance to Vorhees State Park for seven glorious years…It was a special time.
