Description
This original collage re-edit of my original acrylic/CP/WC pencil painting of a white pine tree candle entitled “Feel it Burning in the Night”, which was an edit of FAA artist, D.’s photograph, “ White Pine Candle” is further inspired by and therefore, dedicated to, D., (Only a Fine Day). This emerging monarch butterfly was hand drawn with ballpoint pen with orange Colour pencil accents and was custom-wedged into an exacto-knifed collage for a final “surprise” submission to D.’s , still running, September Edit contest. This “might” be a first!!…a double edit of my original “Nature Candles in the wind” edit of D.’s photograph, “White Pine Candle”. Whew!… When she commented that she saw a possible monarch emerging in the far right corner, I was amused and said…go ahead and edit it! On re-think, I added a couple more hours of effort to re-do this FINAL edit in gratitude for all of her work and helpful tips for my ongoing group logo contest. With, great respect for your work and your real time contests, this one is for YOU, D. Hope you like it! I am also looking for YOUR edit of my original to see…YOUR monarch!..:-)…tag, you’re it!
