Title
Frost Kissed
Artist
Laurel Adams
Medium
Painting - Colour Pencil
Description
This original colour pencil rendering of Fairfield Suisun Valley Grapes is the last Real Time study of grapes for the Humble Grape Contest. There were many shades of development in the reference Photograph, graciously provided me by my friend, Joanne. I enhanced them a bit more but these colours were actually present. I believe they were frost kissed to have such varied colours. Enjoy!
NOTE: Within the controversial distinction of CP “drawing” or “painting” lies artist definition. My definition: when the surface is ENTIRELY burnished, I classify as a Painting; when any exposed Paper Is part of the composition or background, I classify as a drawing. I render both.
