These were an actual miniature nosegay bouquet an acquaintance brought to an occasion and let me take home to paint because I was so fascinated. They looked like miniature alpine flowers (here in Kentucky?) and they lasted only that day. I painted fast and furiously. My henbit color pencil painting tells another tale …I will try to find it and comment…:-)
