Description
This original watercolour quarter sheet was as equally about the glass as it was the flowers and showcases Fresh-Picked vintage garden and Meadow florals from my friend, Marsha’s garden when we lived in NJ. She had brought them to grace the table of our ladies lunch and, I begged her for them as I was captivated by both the light effects from the square vase and the delicacy of the Summer blooms. I was a watercolourIng Fool for an upcoming personal Gallery Artist Feature in Clinton which was only weeks away...I painted this in its Peak beauty....and....
Addendum: this is offered for contest entry with the criteria for “ lessons learned in the redo”. I have painted and drawn many things...but none so personally thought provoking as OBSERVING THE COLORS, LIGHT and SHADOW PATTERNS of LIFE in FULL BLOOM and in DEMISE. It is SOULful...and, for me, it is the very content of Art!
